El Oso Polar

Here Is a piece Inspired by a song of the Band Hello Seahorse! the song is called "El Oso Polar" meaning "the polar bear" In english. The song talks about a polar bear who starts to cry after these little kids aren't playing or getting near him.

Title Design Pitch

So over the summer I had the chance to do some designs for an animated title opening on a new primetime television show and network. Unfortunately the network decided not to go with an animated title, and did a more boring photo collage version. I wasn't allowed to put the name of the show or the cast, but It should be pretty obvious what show it is. Its currently airing. The time frame they gave me was really tight, other wise I would of noodled with them some more. But It was one of the funnest projects I got to work on so far.

Microsoft Christmas BG's

So for the past few months I have been working as a background Designer and Painter, at Six Point Harness Studios In Hollywood!! Working here has given me the opportunity to work on alot of different and amazing projects. These are a few backgrounds I did for a Microsoft project. These are up In Display at any Microsoft Store near you for the Holidays. I did about 10 of these, all panoramic BG's that connect with each other, and create a very long continuous pan of holiday animations. I believe they circle a good portion of the stores. Also my friend Skudder helped out with some of the Lighting effects and some last minute gradients and touch ups. He was also one of the Directors alongside with my other friend Zack.

Red Riding Hood Keys

Here are some more color keys/studies! Color keys are so much fun because they are fast, and therapeutic. They are so important to everything crucial: lighting, composition, value, and of course color/mood. The rest is just icing. The first image is also a composition study of a Little Princess by Alfonso Cuaron. It had a very simple composition and played around with it further.

Concept Paintings Cont.

Here are somed of the rendered concept paintings from the study below. I have left the top one just a BG painting, and will add the character later. I Feel like I need to do some Character Development and exploration with some character designs before i move forward. I had a very strong vision in my head as to what the environments, and the style would look like. So I went ahead and painted away the environments and realized my charcters havent been planned out all the way. More paintings coming real soon. Ive been painting several paintings at once to stay fresh with an open eye.
